Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about our underwater ROVs or your order? We’re here to help!

Are the Propeller Protectors interchangeable across different FIFISH ROV models?
The Propeller Protectors are compatible within the same product series but not across different series. Specifically, the protectors are universal for all V-series models (e.g., V6 EXPERT, V-EVO). However, the V-series protectors are not compatible with the E-GO series due to differences in thruster design and mounting structures. Please ensure you select the correct version for your specific ROV model.
What is the primary purpose of the Propeller Protector?
The Propeller Protector is designed to safeguard the ROV's thrusters from underwater debris, such as seaweed, fishing nets, and plastic waste. It also provides an added layer of safety to prevent accidental contact with marine life or users during operation.
Will the protectors affect the ROV’s speed or battery life?
The protectors are designed with a streamlined mesh to minimize hydrodynamic drag. However, as with any external attachment, there may be a slight increase in hydrodynamic drag, which could marginally affect the maximum speed and overall battery endurance.
Can the protectors be used in both fresh and saltwater?
Yes. The materials are selected for durability in various aquatic environments, including saltwater, provided that proper post-dive maintenance is performed.
