Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about our underwater ROVs or your order? We’re here to help!

How do I know when it is time to replace the ROV's propellers?
To prevent damage to the motors, we recommend replacement if you notice any of the following:
Physical Damage: Visible cracks, chips, deformation, or worn edges on the blades (usually caused by collisions with rocks or entanglement with debris).
Abnormal Vibration: Unusual noise or significant shaking from a specific thruster during underwater operation or ground testing (often a sign of an imbalanced blade).
Reduced Performance: The ROV veers off course (yawing) or struggles to maintain a stable posture under normal throttle settings.
Do I need to disassemble the entire ROV to replace a propeller?
No. Replacing the propellers does not require opening the ROV's main body. The process is performed externally on the individual thrusters. Simply unscrew the propeller's securing screw to remove the old blade and install the new one.
Is there a difference between the 6 propellers?
Yes, this is critical. Propellers are strictly divided into CW (Clockwise) and CCW (Counter-Clockwise) types.
Configuration: For V-series models (equipped with 6 thrusters), a standard replacement set typically provides 4 CW and 2 CCW propellers.
How to Differentiate:
Blade Curvature: The blades on CW and CCW propellers slant in opposite directions.
Markings: Check the surface of the blades for engraved "L" (CCW) or "R" (CW) identification marks.
