QYSEA Store Warranty Policy

At QYSEA, we are committed to delivering reliable underwater exploration tools you can trust. We stand behind the quality of our products and warrant that your QYSEA product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. This warranty applies to products purchased directly from QYSEA or through our authorized retailers for personal use.

When does your coverage begin? Your warranty starts on the day your product is delivered. If you happen to misplace your invoice or proof of purchase, don't worry—we will simply start the warranty period 45 days from the product's manufacturing date.

1. Warranty Periods by Component

To keep things clear, different parts of your ROV have different coverage lengths:

Items Not Covered Tether and Tether Connector, Buoyancy Module, Remote Controller Bracket, Propeller, Spool and Travel Case Not Covered

2. Defective or Damaged on Arrival (DOA)

We know how exciting it is to receive your new ROV, and we want your first experience to be perfect. If your product arrives defective, damaged, or experiencing performance failures right out of the box, our DOA policy has you covered.

To ensure a smooth replacement process, please follow these steps:

  • Check Your Delivery: To guarantee your legal rights, please inspect your product immediately upon delivery to ensure it is intact and that no damage occurred during transportation.
  • The 7-Day Window: If you discover a defect or shipping damage, you must report it to us within seven (7) days of signing for the package.
  • Getting Your Replacement: Please contact us right away so we can identify the issue and confirm your product for a replacement.

Important Notice

Please be aware that if we do not receive a report within those first seven (7) days, the product will be officially deemed intact and fully functional upon arrival.

3. What Falls Outside of Warranty Coverage?

We understand that accidents happen out in the water, but please note that we cannot cover damages resulting from non-manufacturing factors. To be completely transparent, our warranty does not apply to the following situations:

  • Crashes, fire damage, or pilot errors.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or opening the shell against official instructions. Please note that any unauthorized opening of the unit will completely void your warranty.
  • Water damage specifically to the remote controller, spool, and HDMI Box.
  • Damage caused by operating in severe water conditions (such as strong currents or huge waves).
  • Operating the product in areas with heavy electromagnetic interference (like mining areas or near high-voltage wires).
  • Issues or damage caused by using unauthorized third-party parts.

4. How We Will Support You (The Service Process)

If your product isn't working as it should, our team is here to help get you back in the water:

STEP 1
Reach Out First: Please visit our support page or send email to shop@qysea.com.
STEP 2
Remote Troubleshooting: To save you time, we will first try to diagnose and resolve your problem over the phone, via email, or through online chat.
STEP 3
Sending It In (RMA): If we cannot fix the issue remotely, we will ask you to fill out a Return Material Approval (RMA) form and send the product to us. You will just need to provide your valid proof of purchase, receipt, or order number.
STEP 4
Shipping & Repairs: We kindly ask that you cover the shipping costs to send the product to us for diagnosis. If the problem is covered under this Limited Warranty, QYSEA will gladly take care of the repair costs and pay for the return shipping back to you.

5. Important Steps Before Sending Your Product

Protect Your Memories: Please back up all data on your SD card before shipping. QYSEA cannot be responsible for any data lost during the repair process.
