Which FIFISH ROV models are compatible with Q-iRC?
The Q-iRC is designed for FIFISH ROVs featuring our updated hardware architectures and power control systems. It is fully optimized for the V6 EXPERT series, E-GO, and newer enterprise-grade models.

Can Q-iRC connect to other brands' ROVs or aerial drones?
No. The Q-iRC is a specialized industrial controller designed exclusively for the QYSEA FIFISH ecosystem to ensure low-latency communication and integrated hardware-software synergy.
What is the difference between Q-iRC and the standard RC?
Unlike the standard remote controller, the Q-iRC features a built-in 7-inch ultra-bright touchscreen (1500 nits) and an integrated system. It eliminates the need for external smartphones or tablets, providing a more robust, "all-in-one" professional control experience.
Do I still need to download the FIFISH APP if I use the Q-iRC?
No. The FIFISH APP comes pre-installed on the Q-iRC, allowing you to start your underwater missions immediately without using your personal mobile device.
Can the Q-iRC be used in heavy rain? What is its waterproof rating?
The Q-iRC has an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust and water splashes. While it can handle light rain and spray, we do not recommend using it in heavy rain or submersing it in water for extended periods to ensure the longevity of the electronic components.
Is the QYSEA Sunhood compatible with Q-iRC?
No, the standard Sunhood is not compatible with the Q-iRC. However, with its 1500-nit high-brightness screen, the Q-iRC provides excellent visibility even under direct sunlight, making a sunhood unnecessary in most scenarios.
Since the Q-iRC screen resolution is 1080p, will my recorded videos also be limited to 1080p?
No. The 1080p resolution refers to the live preview on the remote controller's screen. The actual photos and videos are recorded at the ROV camera's set resolution (up to 4K UHD), depending on your camera settings.
Can the screen brightness of Q-iRC be adjusted?
Yes. You can easily adjust the brightness by swiping down from the top of the screen to access the system settings or through the shortcut menu, allowing you to adapt to various lighting conditions.
