Underwater Metal Detector
QYSEA FIFISH Underwater Metal Detector is a specialized sensor that empowers your ROV to "see through" the mud. Capable of penetrating up to 50mm of silt and sand at water depths up to 100 meters, it identifies hidden metallic elements that optical cameras cannot reach.
Compatible ROV Models
V-EVO, V6 EXPERT, E-GO
- 100m Deep-Sea Rating: Industrial-grade pressure resistance designed for deep-water missions far beyond handheld limits.
- 50mm Penetration Sensitivity: Penetrates layers of soil, sand, and sediment to detect completely buried metallic targets.
- Wide-Area Disk Structure: Large detection surface maximizes scan coverage and ensures no signals are missed in expansive areas.
- Visual LED Feedback System: Real-time flashing indicators on the disk surface allow pilots to confirm targets through the main camera.
- Hydrodynamic Balance: Integrated chassis mounting maintains the ROV’s center of gravity and maneuverability during operations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about our underwater ROVs or your order? We’re here to help!

Which FIFISH models are compatible with the Underwater Metal Detector?
FIFISH V-EVO, V6 EXPERT and E-GO.
*Note: Please ensure you choose the right option to match your specific ROV model.
How does the Underwater Metal Detector work?
It uses Electromagnetic Induction. The coil generates a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When it encounters metal, "eddy currents" are produced within the object, causing a magnetic field disturbance. The detector captures this change and alerts the pilot via indicator.
Can the Underwater Metal Detector be used on land?
It is not recommended. The device is optimized for underwater high-pressure environments and water-based heat dissipation. Using it on land for extended periods may affect stability, and the detection algorithms are specifically tuned for underwater media.
